Greetings!

Thank you for checking out my website and online showcase of my handmade crochet pieces. My name is Safiyyah Nicole and I began learning the art of crochet around age 12, and I have been literally and figuratively hooked ever since. My passion for the craft grew through the years as I learned more techniques and stitches and my love of the art continues to grow to this day.

Crochet is the artistry of using a single hook to transform a line of yarn or thread into fabric. Hand-making each piece allows me to have complete say and quality control of the final piece. The time and care I pridefully invest into each piece is reflected in the finished product. When people inquire as to the amount of time and effort I put into my work, I remind them of the words of the late, great, Steve Jobs, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”

My most recent acquired skill is Crochet by Numbers (CBN) and I was recently certified to teach the style. I continue to crochet with standard stitches along with incorporating the CBN style and work continuously to expand my portfolio.
